Overview

Interra Energy’s AccuFlow™ Production Valve is an inflow control device (ICD) that optimizes steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) production. Multiple AccuFlow Valves can be placed throughout the production string to enable customizable inflow control.

The AccuFlow Production Valve also provides open and close capability throughout the life of the well. The valve’s internal sleeve position can be manipulated via coiled tubing or jointed pipe intervention to enable optimized oil production.

Operation

The AccuFlow Production Valve is deployed in the lateral section of the producing wells to enhance production. The pressure drop across the production can be customized through nozzle size selection.

Interra Energy’s AccuShift™ Thermal Shifting Tool is run into the production well on coiled tubing or joined pipe and auto-locates in the internal sleeve of the production valve. The sleeve is then mechanically shifted into an open or closed position.
