Interra Energy's Raptor OC™ (Open Close) coil sleeves are mechanically shiftable and are opened and closed in conjunction with our Velocity™ Shifting Tool or Raptor™ Annular Frac Packer. The operator has the option of pumping the stimulation treatment down the tubing or annulus.

Our proprietary Raptor OC coil sleeve additionally provides complete stimulation and production control capabilities throughout the life of the well. Operators can optimize hydrocarbon recovery through manipulation of the internal sleeve to shut off water and gas.

Installation

Raptor OC coil sleeves are installed as part of the string during casing installation. The tools are spaced within the wellbore based on client requirements to effectively target the reservoir. The system can be run in a cemented or open hole completion.

Activation

Interra Energy’s Velocity Shifting Tool or Raptor annular frac packer is then deployed on coiled tubing (or jointed pipe) to open the first stage. The shifting tool is pulled upward to shift the sleeve open providing reservoir access for stimulation. The Raptor OC sleeve provides the option of immediately closing each sleeve at the completion of the treatment.

Stimulation

The Velocity Shifting Tool or Raptor annular frac packer is then set below the Raptor sleeve and the stimulation treatment is pumped. The process is repeated for subsequent stages to efficiently stimulate the wellbore in a single tool deployment. The Velocity shifting tool or Raptor annular frac packer are also able to shift the Raptor sleeve closed post-stimulation.
